[12 Aug 1978|10:48pm] Maci finally moved in. She's been talking about moving in with me for over a year now and she's finally here. It's cute, actually, she'd never been out of the US before. She doesn't even know how to handle London. It's funny. She's been auditioning for two days straight now for every dance company within a twenty mile radius. She'll get in one in no time, I'm sure. Anyway, the point is, I start working again on Monday, so someone should take her around and show her stuff. She'd like it. She's adorable, someone volunteer now. Lace post comment

[28 May 1977|11:41pm] So, since I started really pursuing the modelling thing, I really haven't done anything outside of that in a long time. Mere got me to try out for Les Wiz, though, and I can't figure out whether it's a good or bad thing that I'm enjoying something outside of my likely career so much. My mom thinks I'm wasting my time. [Private against Meredith] And Mere's pissed because I got a larger part than she did. Which, really, just makes me laugh. [/Private] But, whatever, it'll be a nice way to finish out schooling. And to say adios to London, for a while, anyway. On the lamer side of things, I think I'm getting sick-- watch out Les Wiz cast. And I think I'm losing my b.f. Seriously, Remus, give her back for at least, I don't know, an hour or something. Honestly. And Mere is pouting and slamming doors. Which, again, is just sort of funny when it isn't annoying. I've got prints that'll be ready that day that I get to go over with my agent. ... Can't you feel my excitement? The day reserved for romance, I'm spending with a thirty-six year old man who only cares about whether these pictures will get me anywhere and will be smoking some bad-smelling cigar. Yay. Take one. [24 Jan 1977|01:26am] So, I've been hearing from a bunch of the girls here at Latimer, some of the boys in Pinkstone, and a few of my friends at Hogwarts that these things are, at the very least, entertaining, so I bought one. Funny little thing, isn't it? Seeing other people's handwriting show up in your own journal. In a way, feels like someone's intruding, but at the same time lets you know you aren't alone, yeah? I don't know. I'm a fan, though. Considering I'm away from school almost as much as I am at school, I think this will be a nice thing to have. At least I won't miss out on the gossip and what have you while I'm gone. I should probably introduce myself, yeah? Yeah. Okay, so I'm Lacey Burke, seventh year here at Latimer. Number two of the Burke Triplets. The Quiet One. The Model. Whatever. Those are usually the ways I'm identified around here. About the whole not being at school much thing: I've been modelling since I was about five or six, so I leave for photoshoots and the like whenever I get a job. Uh.. yeah, that's enough of that. While I'm on here, I might as well say hi to those I don't get to talk to much... Bertha, how's real life? Jared, how's things with your girlfri are they beating the shit out of you in training? Jolie, how bad does the future look, hun? Everyone else I know: I either talk to you too often to have anything interesting to say or I'm too lazy to think of what else to ask.
